Job Purpose:

As a Senior Account Manager Digital, you are the key point of contact for our international automotive client for all digital marketing related activities & services. On your account, you are responsible for the development and execution of all European digital marketing campaigns & projects from the initiation to the implementation. Here, all digital marketing channel and platform development and management lies in your hands. To provide best possible services to our client, you work with a set of internal and external partners and third party agencies in areas such as creative development, media and other specialised areas as well as with our internal departments as well as across the agency’s network.  You compliment our team with your strong understanding of social media, SEO, mobile marketing and web analytics.  

Your Primary Job Duties:

  • Take responsibility for all digital marketing related initiatives on the account (online campaigns, digital strategies, website maintenance, microsites and more)
  • Manage and monitor all digital account activities from initial brief to end of project completion
  • Drive strategic client business development activities
  • Plan & manage client budgets and develop cost effective & justifiable responses to client requirements
  • Actively manage all aspects of client relationship to achieve highest level of client satisfaction by ensuring that work meets client expectations and is delivered on time and on budget
  • Understand your client's needs and framework of operation and consequently present best digital solutions to them
  • Maintain knowledge of your client's business, competition, latest industry news and trends
  • Use creative/technical judgment and skills to ensure all jobs are consistent with the project objectives and the communication strategy
  • Ensure contractual agreements with client & third party agencies are fulfilled
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation: project plan, brief, status reports, risk assessment plans, change requests and reporting
  • Analyse outcome and performance indicators of digital marketing campaigns and overall activities

Your Profile (Education, Experience) / Skills & Personality:

  • University degree or equivalent in marketing & communication or online marketing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an international agency
  • Preferably automotive digital marketing experience including CMS management and mobile marketing
  • Solid understanding and trend setting experience in social media marketing programs (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, blogs, etc.)
  • Technical knowledge of website production, creative and application development
  • Experience with metric/analytic tools is a plus
  • High self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a team 
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal- German is a plus
  • Very good project and process management skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities
  • Conceptual thinking and analytical mind
  • High level of comfort and flexibility for working in a high paced environment
  • Good presentation skills paired with the ability to negotiate, convince and persuade others 
  • Genuinely collaborative and at ease with working with culturally diverse teams on a daily basis
